Many of the above listed insurances require a physical therapy referral. You can contact your insurance and/or primary care physician's/pediatrician’s office to determine whether you need a referral. Please be sure to have the referral ready on the day of your initial evaluation.
In Massachusetts, a medical prescription from your physician is not necessary for physical therapy services. However, most insurance plans require this for payment of physical therapy services. You can either bring the prescription with you on the day of your evaluation or you can ask your physician's office to fax it to our office prior to your evaluation.
